Classic Cream Carved
Each of our cream carved stoneware pieces has a color, texture, and character of its own. They are individually handmade, dipped in a white liquid called clay slip, and then the design is drawn freehand. The background of the decoration is then carved away, removing the layer of slip and exposing the clay body. This creates a relief surface of two different colors. The pots are bisque-fired, dipped in clear glaze, and fired for a second time to 2,360 degrees. These products are oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. No two products are alike.
